Update on Covid-19 – 2 June 2020
The challenges of Covid-19 continue for industry and its customers albeit that there has been a progressive return for operations. OTA2 have continued with a variety of online approaches for our normal meetings. We anticipate that all industry fora that we host, will remain online until the end of August and maybe beyond. We will continue to monitor the situation with a view to either extending this approach or reverting to normal mix of meetings and calls/online engagement.
Welcome to the website of the OTA2
The OTA2 was established as a follow-on to the original OTA Scheme. We are independent of the regulator and of industry. We will facilitate the swift implementation of processes where necessary to enable a wider range of Communications Providers and End Users to benefit from clear and focussed improvements, in particular where multi-lateral engagement is necessary. The OTA2 will also be able to bring all parties together to find prompt mediated resolution of working-level implementation issues.
The OTA2 will primarily deal with major or strategic issues affecting the rollout and performance of Openreach products and services. Additionally, Ofcom will often task us to execute projects and tasks as part of either market reviews or specific consumer requirements across industry.
